CORNHOLE BAGS

Cornhole bags come in a variety of colors and designs and fall into two categories: Standard (corn filled) and All Weather (plastic pellet filled).  All bags are ACO regulation size 6″x6″ and weigh 16oz.

Cornhole bags are inexpensive and can easily last for a couple of seasons.  If you are the DIY kind, you can pick your colors and make your own.  We found a great video on making your own cornhole bags here.  If you do make some, we’d love to hear about!

For those of you who just want to play and don’t have time, interest, or the motor skills to make your own bags, we’ve hand selected some below.

Standard Bags

Standard bags (considered to be traditional bags) are filled will feed grade corn.  These are great bags, but over time, the corn starts to break down into a fine dust.  Corn filled bags do not like moisture!  If the corn gets damp they will start to rot…or grow. 🙂

All Weather

These cornhole bags are filled with recycled plastic pellets, making them weather and critter resistant (critters like corn…plastic pellets, not so much).

Some people might complain about the bags feeling or behaving different compared to corn filled bags….but I personally prefer plastic over corn.  Plastic gives a more consistent feel and throw.
